Day 1: Arrival in Greater Kruger & Afternoon Big 5 Safari

Depart Cape Town or Johannesburg on a scheduled flight to Hoedspruit. On arrival, meet your lodge representative and enjoy a scenic transfer into Kapama Private Game Reserve.

Check in at Kapama Buffalo Camp and settle into your luxury elevated safari tent, featuring a private deck overlooking the bush and an en-suite bathroom.

After lunch and time to relax, head out on your first afternoon open-vehicle game drive. Guided by professional rangers and trackers, explore Kapama’s diverse habitats in search of the Big 5, including lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and the elusive leopard.

Return to camp at sunset and enjoy a relaxed fireside dinner, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 2: Morning Safari & Authentic Bush Experience

Wake early for a morning Big 5 game drive, when wildlife is most active. Learn about animal behaviour, tracking skills, and the Greater Kruger ecosystem from your experienced guide.

Return to camp for a leisurely breakfast and brunch. Spend the midday hours at leisure:

• Relax on your private deck
• Enjoy the camp’s pool and lounge
• Soak up the tranquillity of the bush

In the late afternoon, enjoy another guided safari drive, followed by sundowners in the bush. The evening ends with a traditional safari dinner in camp.

Day 3: Final Morning Safari & Departure

Enjoy a final early morning game drive, capturing last wildlife moments before returning to camp for breakfast.

After check-out, transfer back to Hoedspruit Airport for your return flight to Cape Town or Johannesburg, concluding your Kapama safari experience.
