Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Afternoon Safari
Arrive in the Greater Kruger region and transfer into Timbavati Private Nature Reserve to Kambaku Safari Lodge. After check-in and lunch, relax briefly before heading out on your first afternoon open-vehicle game drive.
Accompanied by professional rangers and trackers, explore Timbavati’s diverse habitats in search of the Big 5, with excellent opportunities to spot elephant, lion, buffalo, and leopard.
Return to the lodge at sunset and enjoy a relaxed dinner under the African sky.

Day 2: Morning & Afternoon Big 5 Safaris
Wake early for a morning game drive, the best time to see predators and active wildlife. After returning to the lodge for breakfast, enjoy time at leisure:
- Relax by the pool
- Enjoy the tranquil bush setting
- Watch wildlife near the lodge
In the afternoon, depart on another guided safari drive, followed by sundowners in the bush. Dinner is served back at the lodge.

Day 3: Immersive Timbavati Safari Experience
Enjoy another early morning Big 5 game drive, exploring different areas of the reserve and tracking wildlife off-road where permitted.
After breakfast and lunch, spend the afternoon relaxing or enjoying the lodge facilities. Later, head out on your final afternoon safari, capturing unforgettable wildlife moments before returning for a traditional lodge dinner.
