Day 1: Arrival in Greater Kruger & Romantic Afternoon Safari
Your honeymoon safari begins with a scheduled flight from Cape Town or Johannesburg to Hoedspruit. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred through the scenic bushveld to Kapama Karula.
On arrival at the lodge, enjoy a warm honeymoon welcome and settle into your private luxury villa, featuring:
- Private plunge pool
- Outdoor deck with river or bush views
- Floor-to-ceiling glass for immersive nature experiences
After time to relax and freshen up, enjoy a light lunch before heading out on your first afternoon open-vehicle game drive. Accompanied by expert rangers and trackers, explore Kapama’s wildlife-rich landscapes in search of the Big 5, with outstanding chances of spotting lion, elephant, and leopard.
As the sun sets, stop for sundowners in the bush before returning to the lodge. The evening concludes with a romantic candlelit dinner, perfectly set for honeymooners under the African sky.

Day 2: Big 5 Safari, Leisure & Honeymoon Indulgence
Wake up to the sounds of the African bush and enjoy an early morning game drive, the best time to encounter predators returning from their night hunt. This is an ideal opportunity for close-up wildlife sightings and stunning safari photography.
Return to the lodge for a leisurely breakfast and brunch overlooking the river. The rest of the day is at leisure, allowing you to fully enjoy the privacy and luxury of Kapama Karula:

In the afternoon, head out on another expertly guided Big 5 safari drive, exploring different areas of the reserve. The day ends with a private romantic dining experience, specially arranged for honeymoon couples.
